Brevi-Kath®

Heavy duty catheter body and soft tip in a convenient 12" (305mm) length. Annealed fluoroploymer coatings for greater durability and ease in placement. Precise directional control (1:1 torque).

Catalog Number(s)

  • Cat. #155-2393
  • Length: 12" (305 mm)
  • Size: .043 (19g)

Indications

Epidural or transforaminal infusion. Shorter 12" (305mm) length provide precise directional control for procedures where extra length is not required. For example L5-S1, L4-5, L3-4 in most patients, also cervical and transforaminal.

Brevi-STF®

Derived from the Brevi-XL with the largest available stylet. Even with the added stiffness, this catheter maintains a round, deflective, atraumatic tip. Stylet runs the entire length of the Brevi-STF catheter to the distal end. Annealed fluoroploymer coatings for greater durability and ease in placement. Precise directional control (1:1 torque).

Catalog Number(s)

  • Cat. #155-2343
  • Length: 12" (305 mm)
  • Size: .043 (19g)

Indications

Epidural placement for hard to reach situations. Shorter 12" (305mm) length provides precise directional control for procedures where extra length is not required. For example L5-S1, L4-5, L3-4 in most patients, also transforaminal. Extra long, firm stylet provides maximum tip stability and control when catheter insertion and placement may be difficult.

Brevi-XL™

Similar to the Brevi-Kath with the added versatility of selective distal end stiffness (i.e. firm or soft) by adjusting the stylet. Even with the stiffer distal end, the catheter maintains a round, deflective, atraumatic tip. Stylet runs the entire length of the Brevi-XL catheter to the distal end. Annealed fluoroploymer coatings for greater durability and ease in placement. Precise directional control (1:1 torque).

Catalog Number(s)

Cat. #155-2340

Length: 12" (305 mm)

Size: .043 (19g)

Indications

Epidural or transforaminal entry . Shorter 12" (305mm) length provide precise directional control for procedures where extra length is not required. For example L5-S1, L4-5, L3-4 in most patients, also cervical and transforaminal. Extra long stylet provides maximum tip stability and control when catheter insertion and placement may be difficult.

Brevi-XL/2™

Similar to the Brevi-XL. Additional stylet included to offer more options for success during the procedure. The additional stylet may be alternately exchanged to provide curve or staight catheter directability. Annealed fluoroploymer coatings for greater durability and ease in placement. Precise directional control (1:1 torque).

Catalog Number(s)

Cat. #155-2342

Length: 12" (305 mm)
Size: .043 (19g)

*This is a custom/standard product and requires a lead time of 6-8 weeks.

Indications

Same as Brevi-XL with the added utility of two stylets for various circumstances in which the first stylet is curved and difficult to re-insert.

Versa-Kath®

21g catheter. Reduced size, same 1:1 torque and directability. Due to its slim design, the Versa-Kath® is the only Spring Guide Epidural Catheter that can be introduced through an 18g needle. Packaged with a Stylette.

NOTE: Introduce with 18g RX Coudé® (or 18g RX™ Straight) Epidural Needle.

Indications

Cervical targets, where directional control for specific targets is vital even for patients without extensive scarring. Also useful in treatment of cancer pain when specific placement and cutting-to-size is a benefit. Using the Versa-Kath® for transforaminal and retrograde placements are made easier as well.

Tun-L-Kath®

Firm, directable catheter body. Round, deflective atraumatic tip design (stylet does not extend to the distal tip). Annealed fluoropolymer coatings for greater durability and ease in placement. Precise directional control (1:1 torque).

Catalog Number(s)

Cat. #155-1520

Length: 33.25" (845 mm)

Size: .043" (19g)

Indications

Epidural infusion specifically where scarring or adhesions in the epidural space or other abnormal anatomy may make placement difficult, i.e. failed back surgery, disc disruption, arthritis, facet pain, etc.

Tun-L-XL™

Stylet runs the entire length of the Tun-L-XL catheter to the tip, providing maximum tip stability and control. Note: 24" model includes an extra stylet. Selectively stiffer soft atraumatic catheter tip-maximum stiffness with stylet fully inserted to the tip, OR exhibits similar softness to Tun-L-Kath catheter with the stylet pulled back from tip. Annealed fluoropolymer coatings for greater durability and ease in placement. Precise directional control (1:1 torque).
